Meadows Home Care
Flexible support at home, built around you
Sometimes a little extra support can make all the difference.
Whether you need help getting ready in the morning, support after a hospital stay, companionship during the week, help with shopping, or more regular care at home, Meadows Home Care provides flexible, personalised support designed around your life and needs.
We understand that no two people are the same. Some people need a helping hand now and then. Others need more regular support or reassurance to remain safe and independent at home. That is why our care is shaped around what matters to you, rather than a one-size-fits-all package.
Our trained and compassionate team provide care with dignity, warmth, and professionalism, helping people remain comfortable, confident, and connected in the place they know best: home.
Meadows Home Care is a privately funded home care service from Southend Care, Southend City Council’s wholly owned care provider. For families, that brings something different: flexible support at home, backed by strong standards, local accountability, and a genuine commitment to the Southend community.
We are regulated by the Care Quality Commission and rated Good across all domains.

Meet The Team

Deborah started her journey in care 9 years ago after caring for her Nan. Deborah could see that good care can make a difference to someone whether it be in a Care Home or their home. Deborah knew after doing this she wanted to be able to support other people to live a fulfilling life.
Deborah started as a carer and enjoyed being able to support people to be as independent as possible and wanted to progress. This was so she could help others come into this role and make a difference. Deborah is now a manager of the Community Service at Southend Care and is fully focussed on helping people on this journey.
Deborah enjoys her role and the ability to support both a care team and individuals. Deborah feels if she can make a difference to one person a day, she knows she is doing a good job. She is passionate about delivering care centred on a person's individual needs and being able to support them to remain in their own homes. Having worked within a Reablement Service and then a Domiciliary Service, she has seen how both can have a positive impact on someone’s Mental and Physical Health.
In Deborah’s spare time she enjoys having friends and family over and enjoy cooking for them, this could be a BBQ or a meal. Deborah likes to see smiling faces and people having a good time. Her family are my greatest support she enjoys spending quality time with them.
Deborah’s other pastime is travelling, over the last few years she has been fortunate to visit places like St Lucia, Jamaica, and other destinations in the Caribbean and will continue to explore the world on these travels and visit new countries and cities.
