Supporting Independence
Our CQC-Rated 'Good' Supported Living Scheme
Our Supported Living Scheme is home to 15 tenants with learning disabilities, offering tailored care and support to help each individual live as independently as possible within the local community.
At the heart of our approach is a commitment to person-centred support, empowering tenants to make their own choices, build essential life skills, and actively participate in everyday life. Whether it’s assistance with personal care, managing a household, or accessing local services and activities, our dedicated team provides the right level of support while promoting dignity, confidence, and autonomy.
We’re proud that our service has been rated ‘GOOD’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), reflecting our high standards of care, safety, and responsiveness. This recognition highlights the quality of our team and our ongoing focus on helping individuals thrive in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Our goal is simple: to help each person we support lead a fulfilling life, connected to their community and in control of their own future.
We just wanted to say a huge thank-you to you and all the staff at Spencer House for all that you have done for Doreen. You have coped with it all heroically and it is so very much appreciated.
