Welcome David

David is 43 years old and has recently moved to Westwood house. David came to us from his parents’ house. Before this he had lived with a girlfriend, but this relationship broke down, effecting Davids mental health and wellbeing. Although as a temporary solution he was happy to stay with his parents, this was not ideal long term as David wants to live as independently as possible.

Since moving to Westwood David has shown he is keen to learn new skills, such as laundry, cleaning and cooking. He engages well with the staff as well as the tenants.

David continues to attend his day service twice a week, as well as football 3 times a week, where he helps with a local team.

David enjoys being busy and has volunteered to be the Bingo caller at Westwood, he also offers his assistance when he thinks he can be of use.

I am pleased to say in the short time David has been at Westwood he has thrived, and this will continue with staff support.
