Paul's Story

At Longmans Extra Care, we believe in creating a community where every individual can thrive, contribute, and feel valued. One of our residents who truly reflects this spirit is Paul.

Paul, who has a mild learning disability, is known for his friendly personality and helpful nature. He is everyone’s friend and gets along wonderfully with both residents and staff. Always ready to lend a hand, Paul helps to tidy the communal lounge and kitchen, supports others during activities, and is quick to offer assistance whenever it’s needed.

Paul enjoys keeping busy and taking part in all aspects of life at Longmans. Recently, he decided to explore his creative side by signing up for pottery classes at the local college. He attends regularly and absolutely loves it. His enthusiasm and warmth have made him popular with everyone he meets, from security staff to fellow students.

Paul has a natural gift for making people feel welcome and valued. His positivity, kindness, and willingness to help make him a true asset to our community. We’re proud to have Paul as part of the Longmans family and celebrate the joy and energy he brings to everyday life.
