Meet Elisa

Elisa has over 20 years of experience in social care, working with children and families, day services, supported living and supported housing.

Since August 2024, Elisa has served as the service lead at Hope Lodge, a transitional housing scheme that provides accommodation, and support tailored to address a spectrum of mental health needs and substance misuse, particularly drug and alcohol addiction. This service is often designed for individuals known to forensic services. Elisa and her team supported residents on their journey toward treatment and rehabilitation, helping them manage their conditions and reduce associated risks. Elisa's passion for care work stemmed from her experience volunteering in a care home when she was 18 years old. Volunteering in such an environment allowed her to interact with older individuals, learn from their stories, and gain a new perspective on life and its challenges, including conditions like dementia.

In September, Elisa joined the Shared Lives family. She is really looking forward to another challenge, understanding the needs of the people who use this service and how it will look in the future.

Outside of her role, Elisa has 3 French Bulldogs to keep her busy, and enjoys spending time with her Granddaughter, friends and family.
