Exceptional Service from Jenny

There’s something special brewing at Barista Meadows. Customers are thrilled to be greeted with a smile and an always bright, friendly demeanour by Jenny. Jenny has been working at Barista Meadows for several months, acquiring valuable skills to take forward into employment, including dealing with customers, managing payments, serving hot drinks, snacks, and cakes. We sat down with Jenny to learn about her time experience working here.

What do you enjoy about working in the cafe?

I enjoy serving customers, making coffee, doing the till, working with Claire, and welcoming people

What new skills have you learned in this role?

I have become more confident in myself, I have done travel training and barista training.

Have you learned anything new about yourself since you started working here?

I find talking with people easier and I can approach people easier. I really enjoy my job – I love it.

What are you most proud of since you started working here?

I am confident using the till. Jenny has pushed herself out of her comfort zone and learned new skills.

Is there anything else you would like to share about the job?

I am very happy.
