Role: Personal assistant (Support worker)
Requirements of the role: We are looking for a friendly, caring and enthusiastic person to support Izzy, a very sociable young lady who loves getting out and about and spending time in her local community. Izzy communicates mainly through non-verbal communication and vocalisations.Â
The successful person will support Izzy to:
- Prepare and enjoy meals
- Develop and maintain friendships and relationships
- Get out and about and enjoy her local community
- Access local services, activities and places of interest
- Build confidence and independence
- Communicate her wishes, interests and experiences
- Enjoy meaningful and fun activities based around her interests
We are looking for someone who is patient, approachable, reliable and sociable, with a genuine interest in supporting Izzy to have a happy, active and fulfilling life.
