Role: Personal assistant (Support worker)
Requirements of the role: Jamie is a young man with a learning disability who enjoy his own company and needs a little encouragement to get out and about and spend time socialising.
Jamie is looking for a friendly, patient and supportive person who he can build a good relationship with and enjoy spending time with.
The role
You will support Jamie to:
- Access and enjoy activities in the local community
- Spend time socialising and trying new things
- Build confidence and independence
- Choose and prepare meals
- Manage personal hygiene
- Choose appropriate clothing and get ready for the day
- Enjoy his time with someone who understands and supports his needs
