Hourly Rate:  £15.18

Job type: Part time – 22 hours 30 mins – fixed term contract

Our Shared Lives Scheme is growing and we are seeking a part time Shared Lives Recruitment and Marketing Officer to join our friendly team on a fixed term contact.

Southend Shared Lives is a flexible, creative, community-based service which provides long term accommodation, short breaks and day support to individuals who have been assessed as needing this unique and flexible type of support.  The scheme recruits, trains and supports carers to provide quality placements for vulnerable individuals within their own family homes in the community, providing an alternative for people to the more traditional residential support.

The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to work with the team to develop and implement a recruitment and marketing strategy. To be successful for the role you will need to have experience of using social media to create marketing campaigns in order to raise the awareness of this unique service we offer and create a strong brand awareness. You will be tasked with creating and managing a proactive recruitment campaign in order to increase the recruitment of shared lives carers, by using marketing and advertising to reach a wider pool of applicants that are best placed to support our service users with their variety of needs.
