Job Title: Health & Social Care Trainer

Location: Southend-on-Sea

Salary: £30,500 – £33,500 pro- rata – depending on experience

Job type: Part Time / Permanent

Hours – 22.5 hours per week

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced enthusiastic trainer to join our friendly team. You will play a vital role in ensuring that our colleagues are equipped with the knowledge, skills and confidence necessary to excel in their roles and to deliver outstanding care and support.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality impactful training, and engaging training materials on a range of Health & Social care topics including safeguarding, dementia awareness, mental health awareness, understanding alcohol & substance abuse
  • Evaluate effectiveness of face to face and e-learning training programmes and make improvements
  • Maintain accurate records of training delivery
  • Facilitate induction programmes and support with marking of care certificates
  • Foster a positive and support learning environment for all staff to support retention and staff engagement
  • Utilise external funding streams to enhance training programme

Ideal Candidate

  • Teaching & Education qualification ie Level 3 AET, PTTLS, CTLLS
  • Experience and background of training in Health & Social Care setting
  • Train the Trainer (M&H, BLS etc)
  • A genuine passion for supporting learners and understanding the important of delivering health & social care training programmes that meets CQC requirements & expectations
  • Personable, highly organised and team player
