- Provide a high-quality recruitment support to all departments within Southend Care Ltd, ensuring all processes are undertaken in an efficient, effective and timely manner.
- Liaise with Payroll Provider to ensure all starters, leavers and other changes to individual’s employment are processed accurately and in line with processes & procedures.
- Act as key point of contact for all candidates at each stage of the recruitment process, ensuring they are progressed in a timely manner in order minimise candidate drop out
- To monitor, and report on recruitment needs across the company by maintaining an up-to-date recruitment tracker and ensure that all recruitment requests are in line with service financial budgets
- Obtain references, undertake pre-employment checks, DBS and Right to Work checks on all new starters and volunteers, and ensure HR information system is updated, and regular reports are produced to monitor compliance
- Liaise with Payroll Provider and line managers to ensure all processes and procedures are followed accurately and all starters, leavers and other changes to employment are processed in accordance with payroll, and contracts issued in a timely manner in line with employment law
- To provide HR support and administration with the managing sickness absence process in line with the policy

Shared Lives Manager
- Providing a high quality shared lives service that supports people who draw on care and support through the scheme to live as independently as possible, and achieve positive outcomes, within a family based setting
- Providing leadership to ensure shared lives social workers and carers are clear about their duties and responsibilities and have the support they need to carry out their roles safely and effectively in line with Southend Care policies and procedures.
- Promoting the rights of each person the scheme supports and keeping their wishes at the centre of their care and support.
- Managing the safety and quality of the scheme in line with legislative and regulatory requirements, sector best practice and organisational policy and procedures

- To assist the Team Leader with their day-to-day duties and clinical related tasks including administration of medication.
- To maintain and develop a high standard of care for our patients/residents by being aware of their individual needs and adhering to their care programme
- Encourage patients to develop their daily living skills and support them to continue to live as independently as possible.
- Be committed to a person-centred approach to recovery. Acting as the patient’s advocate, helping them to achieve the outcomes they desire and, in doing so, help promote their health, safety and wellbeing.
- Take ownership and accountability for the delivery of high-quality care and take appropriate action in reporting incidents or safeguarding concerns.
