Job Title: Community Carer
Location: Community Based, Southend-on-Sea
Salary: £13.25 per hour
Hours: flexible, up to 30 hours per week

Because our service is delivered from 7am to 11pm, 365 days a year, including Bank Holidays and weekends. We are able to offer a range of flexible working patterns from guaranteed hours of up to 36 hours per week with ability to do overtime, or weekend only contracts or bank contracts.

Job Title: Bank Support Worker
Location: Westwood Extra Care Scheme, Spencer House, Supported Living Scheme, West Street Supported Living Scheme and Longmans Extra Care Scheme
Hourly Rate: £12.00
Support Worker
Southend Care Ltd, are looking for Bank Support Workers who care about making lives better to join our team of existing staff to deliver high quality person centred and compassionate care.
As a Support Worker you will provide support and care to tenants living in their own flats, maximising their independence and health & wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
The role of the Support Worker may include but is not limited to:
* Personal Care / manual handling (full training will be provided)
* General household chores / Laundry
* Prompting and administrating medication
* Shopping for food, preparing and cooking meals
* Craft activities and games
* Accessing the Community – can include shopping, going for lunch, cinema, day trip to beach etc.
We are looking for an individual who has:
- A personable and warm approach with a genuine interest in the wellbeing of our tenants
- Minimum of 6 months experience in care setting
- Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care Desirable
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to deal with sensitive issues.
Bank Support Workers required across Southend Care's Supported Living and Extra Care Schemes
Brook Meadows House are looking for people who care about making lives better to join our team of existing staff to deliver high quality person centred and compassionate care.
As a Complex Healthcare assistant you will provide support and care to people, maximising their independence and health & well being.
Key Responsibilities:
- To assist the Team Leader with their day-to-day duties and clinical related tasks including administration of medication.
- To maintain and develop a high standard of care for our patients/residents by being aware of their individual needs and adhering to their care programme
- Encourage patients to develop their daily living skills and support them to continue to live as independently as possible.
- Be committed to a person-centred approach to recovery. Acting as the patient’s advocate, helping them to achieve the outcomes they desire and, in doing so, help promote their health, safety and wellbeing.
- Take ownership and accountability for the delivery of high-quality care and take appropriate action in reporting incidents or safeguarding concerns.
We are looking for an individual who has:
